We have completed the consultation to define the assets that represent valid voting power in Radix Consultation Snapshots.
As we transition to the community-led model, clarity is essential. There cannot have ambiguity about who has a voice in consultations. We asked you to input which assets should count, setting a threshold of 60% acceptance for inclusion.
With over 1.4 Billion XRD participating from 743 accounts, the community has drawn a clear line.
The Results
The community voted to INCLUDE the following assets (meeting the 60% threshold):
- XRD Staked on Top 100 Validators: 79% Support
- XRD Staked on Any Validator: 69% Support
- Liquid XRD held in Accounts: 69% Support
- XRD in Supported DEX Pools*: 60% Support
*These will be the pools supported in Radix Rewards S1 for now.
The community voted to EXCLUDE the following assets (failing the threshold):
- Time-Locked XRD: 44% Support
- Lent XRD: 28% Support
The New Standard
Future governance snapshots and consultations will calculate voting weight based on the aggregate sum of:
- Staked XRD (All validators)
- Liquid XRD
- XRD/LSUs in supported DEX Pools
We will update the community when necessary changes to consultations.radixdlt.com have been made so snapshots reflect this new standard.
