The bridge that opens Radix to the rest of crypto is now live. Hyperlane’s integration has landed on Radix mainnet, bringing permissionless, open, and modular interoperability to the ecosystem.
This is one of the most important moments since Babylon, because it turns multi-chain from an ambition into a daily workflow for the Radix community, and unlocks cross-chain liquidity to easily flow into the Radix Defi ecosystem.
If you are new to Radix, this is a good time to try the flow yourself. Bridge some USDC, wBTC, or ETH, explore the apps, and see how the Radix Wallet turns on-chain actions into human language you can trust.
If you are already here, this is your signal to bridge assets, utilize the ecosystem, build more secure and innovative dApps, and most importantly spread the word so newcomers can find a home in the Radix community.
What you can bridge today
At launch, Hyperlane supports warp routes for the following assets and networks:
Assets: USDC, USDT, wBTC, ETH
To and From: Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Binance Smart Chain
Additional warp routes are coming over the next few weeks, including support for assets like SOL.
Where to bridge
At launch, there are two main interfaces. Both connect to the same underlying Hyperlane routes on Radix. Pick a source chain, select your asset, confirm, and you are done. Liquidity and users can now move in and out of Radix without gatekeepers.
You can use either interface, your choice:
- Astrolescent, a Radix-native front end: https://astrolescent.com/
- Hyperlane Nexus, the Hyperlane reference app: https://nexus.hyperlane.xyz/ (live soon)
Why this matters
Hyperlane is permissionless, open source, and modular, which means routes can be deployed without centralized approval, code can be audited and improved by anyone, and security can be tuned to fit the use case. For Radix developers, that translates into real design freedom. For users, it translates into familiar assets arriving in the wallet with less friction and more choice about where to go next.
For DeFi on Radix, the implications are immediate. Liquidity providers can seed stablecoin and blue chip pools with capital that comes in from day one. Traders can bring over the balances they already hold rather than waiting for new listings or bespoke wrappers. Protocol teams can design flows that attract users from other chains, then keep them with better user experience and asset safety on Radix. Composability starts to extend beyond a single network, and Radix dApps can plug into cross chain opportunities while keeping full control of their tokens and logic.
This also strengthens the path for new builders. If you are shipping a lending market, a DEX, a structured product, or a payments rail, you can design your onboarding around the assets most people already use. If you run a wallet or on-ramp, you can guide users into Radix with fewer steps and a clearer story. If you are a liquidity DAO or a market maker, you can plan inventory and incentives with confidence that the routes exist and the integration is permissionless.
What’s next
We will continue to expand the menu of warp routes from here. The priority is to add the assets and chains the community uses most, keep the experience predictable, and make it easy for teams to build on top.
As new routes like SOL come online, expect more guides, more examples, and tighter loops between bridging and the core actions people take on Radix.
Hyperlane going live is also the final trigger for the start of the Radix Rewards 1Bn XRD points airdrop.
Radix Rewards Season 1 will start at 00:00 UTC on Sept. 8, 2025.
