The world is about to become significantly more connected for the Radix ecosystem.
Hyperlane, one of the leading interoperability protocols in crypto, is officially integrating Radix. Once live, this will unlock seamless bridging between Radix and over 150 other blockchains, creating a major new gateway for users, liquidity, and assets to flow in and out of the network.
Even better: Hyperlane’s Radix integration code is now fully open source and heading into a security audit. Mainnet launch is expected at the end of August.
Why Hyperlane?
Hyperlane is built to solve one of the biggest challenges in Web3 today: interoperability that is both open and secure.
Their framework supports the widest range of chains and virtual machines in the space, and have already processed over $8 billion of asset transfers and 10m+ crosschain messages.
With the addition of Radix, developers will be able to build and connect applications that move assets and messages across ecosystems without giving up sovereignty or flexibility.
Hyperlane is:
- Permissionless – anyone can deploy and use it
- Modular – developers can customize security, routing logic, and behavior
- Open – the entire framework is open source, making it auditable and extensible
That means Radix projects will be able to tap into liquidity from across Web3, connect with DeFi opportunities on other chains, and onboard users holding assets elsewhere, all while keeping full control over their apps and tokens.
A Big Step for Radix
A fully open-source, permissionless bridge is one of the most important and impactful integrations for Radix yet. It’s infrastructure that opens the door to multi-chain growth.
Hyperlane’s permissionless bridge brings:
- Capital access – easier flow of assets into and out of the Radix ecosystem.
- User acquisition – connect with users on any chain via familiar wallets and apps.
- Composability – build dApps that talk to other chains, unlocking new DeFi opportunities.
And because Hyperlane supports custom security modules, Radix developers will be able to choose the level of trust and control that best fits their needs.
What’s Next
With the code open-sourced and a security audit beginning shortly, Hyperlane is on track to be live on Radix mainnet by the end of August.
The integration is a key milestone as Radix prepares for the launch of Radix Rewards, the points-based airdrop campaign designed to supercharge ecosystem activity.
More updates will follow soon. But for now, it’s clear: Radix is becoming a serious destination for multi-chain liquidity and growth.
