Radix Careers

Marketing Director

What is the job?

There are marketers and then there are students of the marketing game. You’re the latter.

You don’t just “do” marketing, you appreciate the essence of marketing. As Peter Drucker said, “the job of marketing is to understand the customer so well that the product or service sells itself.”

You also like challenges. You know what a BHAG is and the vision behind Radix is definitely one. We’re going to make the $400 trillion dollar traditional finance sector obsolete. That is a mission that you can get behind both professionally and emotionally.

Your mission here will be to collaborate on creating radically different marketing strategies and then own turning it into effective execution across marketing teams, the entire RDX Works organization, and the greater Radix community. Not only do you know how to plan and execute, you know how to measure, track, and, most importantly, learn.

Sometimes, you win and sometimes, you lose, but you always are grateful that you’re playing in the dual game of marketing and Web3/crypto.

What are we looking for?

  • You can take a 1-2 page campaign brief and ensure that a robust marketing plan is built, designed for maximum impact and outcomes.
  • You appreciate the importance of tactical brilliance, but you aren’t blinded by it. You know that fundamentals beat glitz, glamour, and glitter over the long haul.
  • You are a really, really, really good communicator in written and verbal media.
  • You’re not afraid of risks, but you’re not irresponsible about when you take them.
  • You have operational discipline, appreciating the need for process and rhythm, but not being a slave to it. It’s the backbone of what you do, but it’s not the entirety of what you do either.
  • You are versatile. You have experience across a range of marketing functions. You may be an expert in only 1 or 2, but you “know enough to be dangerous” across the board.
  • You realize that time doesn’t equate with value.
  • You may love marketing and your career, but you are much, much, much more broad and deep than that.

What do you need?

  • A portfolio of demonstrated competence in communication across written and verbal media, ranging from short-, to medium-, to long-form
  • A verifiable track record of campaign execution excellence
  • Ability to take raw data and analyze it to look for patterns and insights
  • Proof that you are able to effectively explain relatively complex financial and technical concepts in consumable ways to non-technical audiences
  • Experience in working in a product-led organization
  • Past experience in leading marketing teams

Nice to haves:

  • A crypto-first mindset
  • Experience in the financial industry or FinTech industry
  • Multilingual
  • Familiarity with coding

Who are we?

At RDX Works (formally Radix DLT), we're a team of like-minded thinkers who have long been convinced that we're living in the earliest stages of a global financial revolution. This revolution is being fuelled by decentralized finance (or DeFi for short), which is enabling an assortment of pioneering developers and entrepreneurs to re-invent almost every financial product that is currently traded and invested in traditional markets, without requiring central authorities or siloed infrastructure. DeFi has captured a great deal of attention and investment in the crypto-aware niche, growing assets under management from $1 billion to over $200 billion in a few years. Impressive as its growth has been, its current market size isn't even a rounding error on the over $400 trillion held in traditional finance. We're focused on what it will take to go from billions to trillions.

RDX went back to first principles to come up with the right technical solution—the first layer-one protocol built specifically for mainstream DeFi—and we have already tested out at over 1 million transactions per second. We're keenly aware that the need for an infinitely scalable platform is only one prerequisite among many for mass adoption, and we're also blazing new ground in the areas of purpose-built developer tools, user experiences, and regulatory integration.

We have forged a path deep into the future of what distributed ledger technology is going to look like and we need you to come and be part of the team that is making that happen right now.

If this job sounds like it was made for you, then please apply directly here or email farrah@rdx.works for more information.

Alternatively, if you feel like you don’t match all of the requirements, we would love you to still apply anyway. We understand that confidence gaps and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting incredible candidates and we wouldn’t want this to prevent us from meeting you; especially as we are big advocates of helping people learn & grow. This is also another reason we do not advertise salaries, we want to keep it as even a playing field as possible!
